A man of infinite interests, but only one all-consuming passion – Becoming who I am meant to be that I may one day hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant, enter into your Master’s happiness.”

This one passion works its way out through every interest of mine in a dynamic (read “changing”) and symbiotic way.  I want my life to matter greatly to my God, my wife, my kids, my church, my friends, my community and my time.

I am a work in progress.  Every day I learn that there is some area of my life that needs more of the touch of the Master and less of my own coercion.  That there is beauty in simplicity…and complexity, and that God is the Artist behind them both.  The life lived in conformity to His plan and in defiance of the norm is the only path that can be walked in peace.

I am the husband of my one wife – Ashley, and the father of my four kids: Rebekah, Joshua, Caleb and Elizabeth.

I hope that my life shared with yours is better than ours lived in isolation.
